Château Petit Bouquey

WHY BUY IT ?

  • An Bordeaux Tradition exclusivity  for many years
  • A typical Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, predominantly Merlot
  • Ready to drink or perfect for a few years of guard

The history of Château Petit Bouquey dates back to 1900 when it enters the Bordron family. The new generation is now represented by Éric Bordron, who worked on major renovations a few years ago. Eric Bordron has a passion for a local man and the precision of a great winemaker.

The terroir of Château Petit Bouquey covers about 7 hectares planted with 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc on a sand and gravel soil. The cellar needs a great wine: a set of stainless steel parts, a gravitational grape harvest, a temperature control, a custom-made barrel and a beautiful aesthetic. He surrounds himself with the services of the oenologist Stéphane Toutoundji (Château Fonroque, Roquebrune, etc …) whose values ??are produced from modern wines, adapted to the market while facing terroirs, vintages and properties. Château Petit Bouquey produces a premium quality number of the best parcels in Saint Emilion Grand Cru.

At the tasting, Merlot holds a place in the development of Château Petit Bouquey St. Emilion Grand Cru. The nose is very fruity accompanied by light animal notes and spices. In the mouth the fruit exhales, supple in attack, balanced and round.
