The history of Château Myon de l’Enclos has been linked to the Lartigue family for six generations. In 1975, Bernard Lartigue, already owner of the famous Cru Bourgeois Château Mayne Lalande, becomes the new owner also of the domain and perpetuates the Médoc know-how of his ancestors. Since then, he has never ceased to highlight the family patrimony as much by the holding of the vineyard as by the winemaking techniques in the cellar. The Lartigue family also offers a guest house: “The Five Senses of Château Mayne Lalande”.

The vineyard of Château Myon de l’Enclos extends over the land of Listrac and Moulis, planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. The heart of the estate is located at a place called “the Mayne of the moor” which means the border, the limit of the fallow moor: there is the family home for 150 years. In his constant search for perfection, Bernard Lartigue uses rigorous vinification techniques to obtain the best potential of the vineyard. The aging is done in new barrels during 12 to 16 months. The property is recommended by the renowned Hubert de Boüard (Château Angélus).

At the tasting, Château Myon de l’Enclos offers a silky, fleshy wine on the palate, with notes of black fruits, spices and an elegant finish.
