Vinexpo 2016 : a success for Bordeaux Tradition and for the Bordeaux Wines !
Vinexpo 2016 took place in Hong-Kong from Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th May ! As we already told you in our former article, Bordeaux Tradition was exhibiting at this International Fair dedicated to the professionals of the Wine & Spirit sector.
During those 3 days, we have offered to our clients the opportunity to taste some of the most delightful wines of Bordeaux, from our exclusive portfolio to the renowned GCC of the Left Bank.
The highest points of our fair were definitely the master classes Frederic Bernard & Emmanuel Vigier set up. Indeed, we were pleased to welcome on our booth Hubert de Boüard who introduced our visitors to his fantastic 1st Classified Growth A of St Emilion: Château Angélus. The vintages 2006, 2011 as well as the 2nd label Carillon de L’Angelus have found their public !!!
Also Olivier Bernard and his son Adrien came with 3 of their estates: Domaine de Chevalier, Domaine de la Solitude & Ch. Lespault Martillac. For sure those Pessac Leognan were enjoyed, judging by the crowd around our booth.
Wines outside Bordeaux were finally honored too. Indeed we have ended this exhausting fair with a “Provence” note by pouring Château La Martinette, a unique gem in the heart of the Provence, in the presence of its owner.
But Vinexpo Hong Kong is not only about the fair itself. Sometimes the “off” side is as important as the exhibition. From the Gala party organized by La Jurade de Saint Emilion, to the launching of customers’ new brands, we were up hill and down dale. We even found enough time to organize a private dinner with some of our closest partners in Asia, thanks to the warm welcome of the restaurant “La Table de Patrick”
All this activity inside and outside the fair, made this event a real success for us and for the Bordeaux sector. Thus we would like to thank the Vinexpo team for the perfect organization. Vinexpo Hong Kong, despite the recent fears around China economic’s situation, established itself once again, as the leading Wine&Spirit event in Asia.
Now the eyes are back on the exciting end of 2015 Futures campaign, and we wish that we will face the same enthusiasm in the trade than we’ve felt in Hong Kong
