We were invited Friday March the 17th 2012 at the Opéra of Bordeaux afin in order to discover the 2011 vintage!
Our impressions: a wine that is lighter that 2010 and 2009, that will have to be drank before. Many compare it to 2008 and 2001.
As a good wine doesn’t come alone, other wines were tasted:
- Comtes Lafon – Meursault “Clos de la Barre” 2008
- Château Montrose 1986
- Château Montrose 1995
- Château Montrose 2001
The whole was paired with a meal created by Eric Frechon and made with the help of Bernard Monblanc.
