After he has managing Château Clos Fourtet, 1st Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion, at the age of 23, Pierre Lurton became General Manager of Chateau Cheval Blanc, 1st Grand Cru Classé A of St-Emilion, at the age of 34. In 2004, Bernard Arnault and LVMH has named him as Président of Chateau d’Yquem, 1er Cru Supérieur of Sauternes.

Chateau Marjosse has an exceptional terroir composed of Astéries limestone, similar to the famous appellation of Saint-Emilion, which is very rare in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. Château Marjosse also produces a dry white wine with Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Sémillon & Muscadelle grape varieties.

At the tasting, Château Marjosse offers a beautiful and brillan light straw color. Very complex aromas that include citrus (grapefruit and lemon), mango, pineaple, pear and white peach. In the palette Marjosse is at once fresh and suprisingly fat and lenghty.
