WHY BUY IT ?

  • A Pauillac that won’t break the bank
  • The Know How of the Meffre family
  • An estate to bet on for the future
  • Access to larger Qty En Primeur
  • Conssitency vintages after vintages
  • Approchable when young

Home of some of the finest Bordeaux Grand Crus, Pauillac delivers vintages after vintages some of the best wines of the appellation. And when your neighbours are  names like Ch. Pichon Baron, Ch. Latour or Ch. Pontet Canet, it’s hard to keep a cool head. But Chateau Bellegrave does. Former property of Armand Roux, the estate has been purchased by Jean-Paul Meffre in 1997. Today, it is his grandsons who manage Château Bellegrave.

Still family owned, the 9 Ha vineyard is of course Cabernet driven (>60%). Ludovic & Julien Meffre apply here the same methods that made their Chateaux Lalande & du Glana some of the best quality/price Saint-Julien.
And eventually, with an average age of vines around 25 years, the most beautiful vintages are still ahead of us. Château Bellegrave has a rosy future !

Perfect to drink young for its youthful exhuberance, Ch. Bellegrave is definetly a property to follow !
