The history of Château David Beaulieu is linked to the Jalousie Beaulieu winery. In 1999, the property is taken over by Philippe Person, son of Marie-Hélène Duporge, the creator of Vignobles Jalousie Beaulieu. After several acquisitions, the Person family now operates 160 hectares of vines. In 2016, Pierre Person joins this family adventure and represents the sixth generation.

The terroir of Château David Beaulieu is located in the town of Galgon, near Villegouge, and extends to the slopes of Fronsac. The soils are mainly clay-limestone and planted with 80% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. The harvest is mechanical with sorting on machine. The winemaking takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel vats and the monitoring is fragmented. Wine aging takes place in vats for 12 to 18 months. The wines are blended in tanks of great capacity to allow a good homogenization. The organisation and work of the vineyard allowed the property to obtain environmental certification EMS and food safety HACCP.

At tasting, the Château David Beaulieu offers an elegant nose, marked by red fruits nuanced with spices. The palate has fleshy texture and very fine tannins.
