Production : it seems that the 2007 Bordeaux wine production will be lower than the 2006 vintage (less than 10%). Each appellation and grape have its own specification.

Quality : The main part of the left bank growers (Medoc and Graves area) are very happy with their Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes and some of them find its extraordinay. The Merlot grapes in those area will be not as good as the 2005. Regarding the right bank (St Emilion and Pomerol) we heard several things depending on the harvest picking date. For this harvest, it was necessary to pick up the grapes too early (this is also true for the dry white in Pessac Léognan).

Of course it is much too early to say whether a château will be better than another. The Primeur tasting in April (April 2008 the 1st to the 3rd) will be of course very interesting, especially this year.
